In addition to 34 projects and 16 finishing techniques, The Bandweaver’s Project Book includes a gallery of more ideas in the back. One of the photos in the gallery shows a handwoven bookmark mounted on a card—a great way to send a greeting with a gift that the recipient can remove and keep.
If you want to use my card designs to make your own, here are print-ready pdf templates to download. There are five designs and all are available in three color choices—black, green and blue. I like to print the templates in black on both white and buff card stock.

Making a card is easy: fold vertically, attach the bookmark with double- stick tape, write your message inside, and tuck into a size 14 envelope.
In the copies that my local print shop made for me, the graphic ended up shifted about 1/8″ to the left, which meant that it wouldn’t be centered if I folded the card exactly in half. To compensate, I folded it so the back flap was slightly narrower and the graphic was centered on the front.
I hope you enjoy using these card blanks—or creating your own—for giving your handwoven bookmarks as gifts.
