Norwegian Pick-Up Bandweaving

The charts in my book, Pick-Up Bandweaving Designs (due out in August, 2024) are all for 13 pattern ends in Baltic-style pick-up. But if you’re a newly-minted pick-up weaver, weaving bands with fewer pattern ends is a great way to practice. And narrow ribbons are fun to weave—no matter your level of expertise. Below, you’ll find 24 charts for five pattern ends in four PDFs. In the next post, I’ll show three examples of how these patterns might be used in a band.
